Fees &
Taxes:
The cleaning fee
is $125 per reservation. A 1%
processing fee will be assessed on the rent amount only, plus 11% taxes on the rent
amount only.
Payment:
We accept these
credit cards:
American Express,
MasterCard,
Visa, Discover
50% of the rental
fee, processing fee
of 1% and taxes plus
the 50% of the
security deposit
will be due at the
time of reservation.

below. The balance
of the rental fee,
processing fee,
taxes and deposit
and the $125
cleaning fee is due
28 days prior to
check-in by credit
card
or money order. If
sending a personal
check, it must be
received 42 days (6
weeks) prior to
arrival date.
You are guaranteed a
reservation when all
paperwork is
complete, rental
agreement is
received and the 50%
security deposit and
50% of the rental
and fees are
received and/or has
cleared the bank.
If you are booking
inside or less than
the 28 day time
frame, the entire
rental fee must be
paid in advance
along with security
deposit and cleaning
fee. Credit card or
overnight cashier’s
check is the only
form of payment in
this time frame.
All reservations
incur NC Sales &
Lodging Tax in
addition to the
rental amounts and
any fees.
Security/Damage
Deposit:
A security/damage
deposit of $400 is
required to be paid
when making the
reservation. All
security/damage
deposits will be
refunded within 1-7
days of departure
provided the cottage
is left in proper
order and undamaged.
Renters will be
responsible for any
damages or theft.

Check-In and
Check-Out:
Check-In and
Check-Out is based
on local time.
Check-In is after 4
p.m.
Check-Out is at 11
a.m. If the cottage
is not vacated at 11
a.m., a Late
Check-Out Fee of
$100 will be charged
to your credit card.
Please follow
check-out procedures
and check list
posted in cottage.
No prorated refunds
will be made if you
leave prior to end
of contract.
Please inspect the
cottage to make sure
everything is to
your satisfaction.
If you find any
conditions you need
to report as
unsatisfactory, do
so right away and we
will make every
effort to correct
the problem in a
timely manner. After
that, it is assumed
that you are
accepting the
cottage “as is”.

PLEASE NOTE - this
cottage is not wheelchair accessible. It was built in
1974 and the stairs risers are higher than normal and the loft
stairs are steeper than normal. This cottage is
not recommended for those with health concerns.
